She taught at John Taylor Sturgeon Creek and Windsor Park Collegiates in Winnipeg and finished teaching at Gimli, Arborg, and Riverton in the Evergreen School Division until her retirement.

Jeannette will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Gerry, children, David Bogucki (Kim); Lori Owen (Ed); grandson Robert (the love of her life); and three stepchildren, Darren (Kim), Lori (Mike), and Patty (Alex), and six stepgrandchildren.
